How do I clean my Artist Bracelet?

We REALLY recommend keeping your artist bracelet DRY and CLEAN at all times.  Guitar strings are metal and metal rusts and corrodes.  Please dry it immediately if it gets wet.You can buff with a silver cleaning cloth to shine it up if needed.

My Favorite artist has been "Out of Stock" for weeks/months/years...

We do our best to keep the guitar strings in stock but unfortunately it is 100% up to the artist when they decide to send us more. Therefore, we CANNOT tell you when we will receive more in the studio.  If you click on the link that says "notify ???????" our system will automatically send you an email when we have what you want.

Oops, my bracelet doesn’t fit!

You can exchange it for a new size, or have a clasp added to it within 30 days of receipt.   To do so, please print THIS form and follow the instructions. Please allow at least four weeks for delivery. Please note that you cannot exchange or return bracelets that have been customized (i.e., engraving, stones, etc).

Repairs

Sometimes, a bracelet brakes.  Since the Artist Bracelets are made from USED guitar strings, they can be fragile.  If you bracelet requires repair with in 30 days from receipt we will happily offer you a complimentary repair.  After that time, we offer a repair service, but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to fix all damage.  After we receive your bracelet, we will call or email you and let you know if we can repair your bracelet, and what the cost would be.  To send in a repair download and print THIS FORM and follow the instructions. (We don’t repair work attempted by others, so don’t try to fix it first.) We cannot be held responsible for any items lost in the mail, so we recommend you use a trackable or insured service.

Sizing- Artist Bracelets with ADDED CLASP

Measure your wrist with a string.  Add a half inch to this number. This is your size! We custom craft the bracelet to the size you specify.  The clasp is INCLUDED in the size.  Example:  My wrist is 7 inches.  I will order a 7.5 and the bracelet I get will be 7.5 inches including the clasp.  Please note that bracelets with clasps are customized and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Sizing- Standard Artist Bracelets

Our Artist Bracelets are bangle style. This means you must slip them OVER your hand.  The silver that you see with the initials on it is NOT A CLASP and these bracelets do not open. Your bracelet should be sung as it passes over your hand so that it won’t slip off.  But, you don’t want it so tight that you put unneeded stress on the used strings. The best way to measure is to use a string and measure the widest part of your hand when your hand is the smallest—like if you were reaching into a pickle jar. Measure the string in inches and this is your size!  Or, download our SIZE RULER and print it out!  If you have read this page and are still confused or have questions about your size, please EMAIL US before placing your order, as each bracelet is custom crafted to your specifications!

What does "Strings In Stock" mean?

This means we have the strings needed to make a bracelet for your order!  All of our bracelets are custom crafted, so we don’t have any stock already made up, unless otherwise noted.

When will my Artist Bracelet ship?

Artist bracelets can take up to four weeks in production, as they are handcrafted to your specifications. Therefore, please order well in advance and take this time into account when choosing a shipping method. We offer only trackable shipping methods which require your signature upon delivery.  This is for your safety! You will get an email from us with the tracking number on the day we ship.

Product Questions

Do the bracelets rust?

-We DO NOT recommend exposure to water.  Guitar strings can indeed rust.

How are the one-size-fits-all guitar and bass string bracelets colored? Does the color come off?

The colored bracelets are electroplated.   The color can rub off if the bracelet is worn with other abrasive bracelets.  If you plan on stacking we recommend the silver or gold colors as those are not plated.  The color does not rub off on the skin!  If you intend to wear your colored bracelet with another metal bracelet we suggest painting it with clear nail polish for some protection.

What are the ARTIST BRACELETS made out of?

The artist bracelets are hand-crafted from REAL guitar and bass strings donated by the artist you choose.  As such, they are all different colors and metals and finishes.  Sometimes the string are thick, sometimes they are thin.  All of this depends on what the artist sends is!  We cannot predict what metals the strings will be made of as they are donated.

What metals are the one-size-fits-all guitar and bass string bracelets made from?

-All of our bracelets are lead free stainless steel and base metal.  They may contain nickel.  For people with metal sensitivities we suggest painting the bracelet with a clear nail polish.

What sizes do the one-size-fits-all guitar and bass string bracelets fit?

-All sizes!  Bend and shape to suit your wrist!  That being said, they are not for children under the age of three as there are components that could be potential choking hazards.  We recommend for ages six and up.

Which string is used for the one-size-fits-all guitar string bracelet?

-A lower E string.
